I am Richard Francis, a therapeutic counsellor working with people experiencing challenges in their private and professional lives. I trained at Sweet Track in Glastonbury where I completed a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
I have a particular interest in psychospiritual approaches such as Transpersonal Therapy and Psychosynthesis. My approach is gentle, and I will be guided by you to work in the way that is most appropriate for you. You may come knowing exactly what you want to work on, or you may come with several issues that are troubling you. Indeed, you may not know what you want to work on and we can navigate that together.
I work in a way that helps you to connect with your authentic self as you develop ways to accept who you are and tune into your intuition. I will listen with care and without judgement. For example, I work with people who are having difficulties with life transitions and those having relationship challenges such as toxic behaviours, emotional abuse and betrayal.
I also work with people that are facing neurodivergence challenges who may or may not have had a diagnosis. If, for example, you are struggling to deal with being accepted by those around you, we could work on conflicts you may have between how you want to be and how you feel you need to be to please others.
Through the work I do with my clients I provide a non-judgemental place where they can share whatever they feel ready to, knowing it’s quite ok to feel the way that they do. Acceptance of self is key to the work that I do.
I am currently offering online sessions and plan to offer in-person sessions in spring 2026 in the Bracknell & Wokingham area.
